Gabby Suzik - The Impact of the Maui Prep Experience

"When you come here, you are treated as family".
I taught for a few years on the mainland prior to coming to Maui Prep. Within months of teaching here I knew this was a truly special place. Maui Prep supports their ohana. Whether you are a student, teacher, coach, staff member or parent, you are met with compassion and care.
This last year after my husband and I lost our home in the Lahaina fire, we were supported and taken care of by our Maui Prep 'ohana in ways that allowed us to move forward with hope and healing. We would not have been able to stay on the island if it wasn't for Maui Prep. This level of support is something that is unique to this special place.
When you come here you are treated as family. Maui Prep also instills confidence in its students and teachers so that they can be successful in all they choose to take on. Whether it be teaching a new course or trying a new teaching technique as a teacher, maybe it's enrolling in a rigorous college course or following a passion to start a small business as a student, Maui Prep gifts its teachers and students the confidence to know they can do hard things and they can succeed.
Being filled with this empowerment and knowing that a school of people are behind you allows individuals at Maui Prep to tap into their potential and create magic with it. This school is special and I am so proud to be a part of the Maui Prep Ohana.
